Bridesmaid Bash

Happy Hump Day girls!

So, I had been talking to some of you girls about taking a day trip to Greenville to get the bridesmaid dresses fitted and make it just a fun trip for as many of us that can be there...so, on August 13th, I am hoping to make a day trip to Greenville to get fitted for my dress and if any of you would like to join, I would love to have you! I figured I can make an appointment at Bella Bridesmaid and we can all be fitted for the dress and have that checked off the list. What do ya'll think? If you are able to join and want to join, let me know ASAP, so I can call Kristy as Bella Bridesmaid and make an appointment. I hope ya'll are getting excited!

Also, I hope everyone got their invitations for the engagement party! If you didn't, PLEASE tell me because that means I have something wrong on your address!!!! AHHHHH!!!

So, if you want to go G-vegas...email me, audie.randall@gmail.com, or call me (ya'll know the number) and let me know.

LOVE YOU ALL TO PIECES!!

BE "WARNED" :)

Since I believe that this wedding should be just as important and fabulous as the Royal Wedding...I hope ALL of you know I am, totally, kidding (I only hope I can live up to Princess Kate's amazing beauty)...I have made an executive decision (since the day of the sensational wedding that was)...and I figure I should let you know now. I find it utterly absurd and disappointing that we Americans do not wear fabulous hats to weddings or any other event for that matter (other than the Kentucky Derby). Since April, I have become OBSESSED with amazing hats, but most importantly, fascinators. With that said, fascinators or sensational hats, will be REQUIRED at the bridal/bridesmaid luncheon! So, I figure if I let you know now, you all can have ample time to find some wonderful outfit and hat that you just HAVE to wear to the luncheon. I cannot even begin to tell y'all how excited I am about this...can you imagine the pictures? Hello People Magazine, Southern Living, Martha Stewart Living...okay, so maybe not that high up the wedding chain, but maybe the Summerville Journal Scene? Picture it...Woodlands, Friday, May 11 around 11:30 am, perfect weather (I am praying) and all of my beautiful bridesmaids together with fabulous hats and wonderful fashion :) uhhh, who would not want to be us?? Is there even an answer to that question?!

I have a feeling some of you are reading this thinking..."she has gone completely mad" (in your best British accent)...but I think it will be fabulous and fun and a memory that will never be forgotten. So, you bridesmaid beauties...you have 10 MONTHS to get that fascinator you know you ALWAYS wanted!! If you absolutely cannot find a hat (that lives up to the English standard) or a fascinator, call me up and I just might like you enough to make you one...I am attempting to make my own...actually, let's wait and see if mine is a success before I promise to make one for someone else :)

I know, I know...you all are thinking, Lord, she was sooooooo meant to be a Royal...don't worry, I am thinking the same thing, I know I was supposed to marry Prince William and wear Diana's ring and have an AMAZE BALLS British accent (can you tell I have been watching "Guiliana and Bill" wayyyy too much...watch it on Style Channel...fabulous)...

KIDDING!!!

I feel like a complete Princess now, with Mark...so I would not change this wedding for the WORLD, its 10000000000000x better than the Royal Wedding...be ready!

Love you all to pieces,
Soon-to-Be Princess Plowden :)

It's PARTY TIME, ya'll!

Well, it has started...the year of parties is starting SOON! I just wanted to let ya'll know that my parents are throwing an engagement party for me and Mark on August 20th at 7:00 pm in Summerville. Invitations will be in the mail ASAP! Also, our next door neighbors and long-time family friends, the Huggins, are throwing us a Couple's Shower on November 5th in Summerville, as well (FYI, there is no Clemson game this weekend and Carolina is away...craziness, I know). I just wanted to give ya'll a heads up on some of the upcoming dates, so if you are available, you can put them on the calendar!

With that said, I want ya'll to know that I understand how busy everyone's lives are with school, jobs and families, so if you are not able to make it to every party or even a single party because of prior obligations, I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND! I also know that since gas and things are so expensive, traveling is tough as well. So, just know that I am behind ya'll 100% and understand if you can't make to every party, because there will be a few :)

On a final note, if you can't make it to the parties, showers, bachelorette weekend (which is soon to be determined) and other goings on, that is fine...just make sure and mark MAY 12, 2012 on your calendar!!!!

LOVE YOU ALL BUNCHES!!!

Love,
The Soon-to-Be Mrs. Plowden

SHOES, SHOES, SHOES!!

Hey girls!

So, I know it may seem early for me to start talking about shoes for the wedding, but I am sending the information now because I am not sure if "nude shoes" are going to be in style next year, around this time. So...on that note...for the ceremony, I would like for my wonderful girls to wear nude shoes. I have found numerous ones on Zappos and a lot of them are a pretty decent price. I have some pictures of shoes below, with the link to Zappos, that tell you what I like and what I don't want. So, I hope that this is my ONE Bridezilla moment...so here goes. The three shoes below are the kinds of shoes that I am perfectly okay with ya'll wearing. I absolutely hate to be a picky bitch and to come across that way...but there are some things I just don't want :) Also, PLEASE do not feel like you have to buy on of the three shoes below or spend as much money as some of them are!!!!! I just want ya'll to know what I was looking for.

GOOD SHOES :)

NOT SO GOOD SHOES :(

The ONLY problems I have with the shoes below are the fact that the "wedge" portion of the shoe is a different color, or is "wood," and that the first shoe is not really a "nude" color. The Michael Kors Wedges that I put up in "good shoes" are fantastic because the whole shoe is the same color. So here is my Bridezilla moment...if you are planning on wearing wedges, PLEASE have the entire shoe be the same color. I don't want the wedge portion to be wood, cork or "rope." And, I promise that that is as bad as my Bridezilla moments will be :) However, I have added the link to the second shoe by Steve Madden because I think they are FANTASTIC and I have a pair myself!

If you want to look at other shoes, I highly recommend it! However, if you want to look at the ones on Zappos...click on "Shoes," then "Heels" and on the left hand side of the webpage there is a section that you can sort the shoes by color...if you click on "beige" and "tan," all the shoes that come up are close to the "right" color. If ya'll have ANY questions, or if you find a fantastic deal or some shoes that you want the other girls to know about, feel free to post away on here!

I love ya'll!!

Love,
The Soon-to-Be Mrs. Plowden :)

This is great! Now we can all have a spot to get together and plan the wedding activities for our bride and groom to be :)
On this note...We need to start brainstorming about the Bachelorette Party!!! Since we all live in different cities and it's going to be hard to get together to plan anything, I think this is a perfect place for that. So let us know what you think :)

Se y'all soon!
